Dukes undertook an extensive commercial painting project involving artefacts at the famous Sydney Defence Base in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.
Concept
The full project scope included the preparation and repainting of multiple artefacts. Preparation was thorough to ensure the new coatings would stand the test of time and withstand the harsh coastal conditions.
We used lead safe preparation practices during the preparation phase due to the age of the artefacts.
The base manager was extremely pleased we could restore these precious artefacts to their former glory.
